Meet Our Team

Justin Christophersen

Justin Christophersen is the CFO and Co-Owner of Badger State Cremation Society, one of Wisconsin’s fastest growing cremation providers.

Raised in a hardworking family and the oldest of seven siblings, Justin learned early that success is built through discipline, resilience, and service to others. His professional journey includes serving as a finance director for dealership organizations, where he gained a deep understanding that many families in our communities live paycheck to paycheck and need honest, affordable options during major life decisions. He also worked as a mortgage lending officer while helping his family with their real estate company in Southern Wisconsin, further strengthening his commitment to guiding families through important financial moments with clarity and trust.


Inspired by his grandfather, who served as both a coroner and fire chief, Justin felt called to a profession centered around service during life’s most difficult moments. Today, he brings both business leadership and heartfelt compassion to Badger State Cremation Society.


As a volunteer firefighter and community servant, Justin believes families deserve transparency, dignity, and affordable options — with the peace of mind knowing their loved one never leaves our care.


Justin is married and the proud father of three teenage daughters, and he understands firsthand the importance of family, trust, and caring for others in times of need.


He is proud to help lead a mission focused on honoring lives and embracing memories throughout Wisconsin.

As a funeral director apprentice, I am deeply committed to caring for individuals and families during life’s most tender moments. My background in forensic nursing has shaped my approach to service—grounded in compassion, advocacy, attentiveness, and respect for every individual’s

dignity.


In the funeral profession, I walk alongside families in their grief, believing that even in sorrow, there can be moments of comfort and meaning. It is my privilege to help families honor their loved ones in ways that reflect their lives, values, and beliefs. I hold deep respect for the

sacredness of each life and the significance of every farewell. I strive to provide peace, reassurance, and hope to the families I serve. I understand that behind every service is a family navigating grief, love, and remembrance. It is

my privilege to walk alongside families during this time, offering steady guidance, thoughtful support, and careful attention to the details that matter most. I strive to create a space where families feel heard, cared for, and confident that their loved one is being honored with the utmost respect.


Serving in this role is more than a profession to me—it is a calling rooted in empathy, integrity, and a sincere desire to help families find comfort and peace during difficult times.
